Brief

The ASEAN-UK SAGE (Supporting Access to Good Quality Education) programme is a UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) funded initiative delivered through the UK Mission to ASEAN. The programme seeks a lead organisation to deliver Phase 2, running for three years from August 2026 to March 2029 with a total budget of £9,000,000. Phase 2 focuses on improving inclusive and equitable quality education for children across Southeast Asia, with particular emphasis on supporting girls and the most marginalised communities. Working in close collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat, the programme aims to contribute to regional integration and reduce development disparities between ASEAN Member States. The Phase 2 approach prioritises using evidence-based strategies to improve learning outcomes and educational inclusion, particularly in priority countries across the region. The lead organisation will work with downstream partners to deliver this regional education initiative.
