BidSonar uses as few cookies as we can get away with. We don't run marketing or advertising trackers, and we don't share data with third-party ad networks.

Cookies we set

Essential

These are required for the site to function. We do not ask for consent for them, because the site does not work without them.

• Clerk session cookies — set by our authentication provider when you sign in. They identify your session and expire when you sign out or your session lapses.
• sonar_consent— records your analytics preference (accepted or rejected) so we don't show you the banner again. Expires after 12 months. Set by us, on the domain you're browsing on, not shared with anyone.

Analytics (consent-gated)

These run only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you reject or have not chosen, they do not run.

• Vercel Web Analytics — aggregate, anonymised traffic metrics. No cross-site tracking, no user fingerprinting, no third-party advertisers. Vercel Analytics privacy policy.

Changing your choice

To change your decision, clear the sonar_consent cookie from your browser's site settings (DevTools → Application → Cookies, or the equivalent in your browser's privacy settings) and reload the page. The banner will reappear.
