Crisis Response Media Training Service

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is procuring specialist Crisis Response Media Training to enhance the preparedness and effectiveness of staff involved in overseas crisis management. This service includes realistic media training, interview simulations, role-play journalism exercises, social media training, and crisis communications scenarios designed to build confidence and capability amongst senior leaders, communications professionals, Rapid Deployment Team members, and other crisis responders. The contract was awarded through the Government Commercial Agency's RM6219 Learning and Development Dynamic Purchasing System following a competitive tender process based on 70% quality and 30% price evaluation. Contract term: 24 months (18 September 2026 to 17 September 2028) with two optional 12-month extensions available (potential extension to 17 September 2030). Forecast contract value: £300,000-£400,000 excluding VAT for the initial 24-month term, subject to actual demand and course volumes commissioned during the contract period.
