Infrastructure Support Services for System Maintenance

This contract is for a framework agreement valued at 898,178,400 HUF for 'supporting infrastructure services.' The contracting authority commits to utilizing 70% of the total framework amount. The services are intended for MAVIR Zrt., providing second-level system support for 24/7 operational and/or operational support tasks in a corporate environment with approximately 800-850 users. The IT infrastructure includes around 1,200 virtual servers and 200 physical servers, with approximately 650 nodes in the backup environment and 90 Oracle databases, totaling a storage volume of 2,700 TB. The specific technical parameters of the systems involved are detailed in the Technical Description. The winning bidder will provide expert support in the following areas: • Server hardware infrastructure (Intel and IBM Power) • IBM storage devices and associated SAN networks • Operation of EMC Isilon H400 devices • Operation of EMC DataDomain devices • HP storage devices • IBM SP and SPP backup systems • Virtualized software and hardware environments (VMWare, PowerVM, OracleKVM) • AIX operating systems • Linux operating systems (RHEL, OracleLinux) • IBM Qradar SIEM system • IBM Security Identity Manager system • IBM ILMT system • Monitoring (Zabbix), CMDB (Device42) systems. General expected tasks include: • Proactive monitoring of all systems and necessary interventions • Participation as an expert in HW/SW developments and operational support for new products from the manufacturers underlying this support contract • Maintaining and updating documentation • Active participation in disaster planning, testing • Managing manufacturer relationships in case of software or hardware failures • Installing manufacturer repairs • Providing professional support to the client's operational staff and optimizing operational processes. Tasks under the additional services as per the Technical Description will be billed based on hourly rates according to specific orders issued by the contracting authority. The contracting authority notes that there is an option but not an obligation to call for additional services. Additional services can be called for in the following cases: - Installation of new systems - Updating existing systems and supporting patch version tracking - Consultations on integration tasks related to new and existing systems - Training and further education for MAVIR engineers - Review and auditing of systems operating at MAVIR Zrt. - Professional support in developing short- and medium-term strategies. In accordance with Section 46 (3) of Government Decree 321/2015 (X. 30.), the contracting authority emphasizes that if the subject of the public procurement necessitated a reference to a specific brand, origin, type of item, procedure, activity, person, patent, or trademark for clear and understandable definition, the mention was made solely for the purpose of clearly defining the subject matter, and the phrase 'or equivalent' is always implied. The contracting authority also emphasizes that in the case of offering equivalent equipment, the equivalence must be proven by the bidder in their offer.
