Telecommunications Infrastructure Maintenance in Hungary

MAVIR ZRt. is seeking a supplier to ensure the continuous operation of its telecommunications network. This includes the operation and maintenance of active equipment, as well as the provision of uninterruptible power supply systems. The supplier will also be responsible for troubleshooting any failures that occur. In addition to power supply, technical maintenance of certain stations is required. The contractor will have remote access to monitor the status of active equipment, investigate and resolve issues, supported by a connection provided by the client. The contractor is responsible for optimizing the scheduling and organization of various maintenance tasks. The technical tasks will be carried out at 80 locations (involving a total of 984 batteries) as outlined in the technical description, including: 1. Maintenance of 0.4kVAC/230VAC uninterruptible power supply systems and branches 2. Maintenance of 48VDC/230VAC inverter systems and branches 3. Maintenance of 0.4kVAC/48VDC power supply charger systems and branches 4. Maintenance of diesel generators 5. Maintenance of battery and battery monitoring systems (intelligent battery monitoring systems, VRLA batteries) 6. Partial technical maintenance of high current distribution systems, branches, and I/O signals in telecommunications rooms 7. Complete electrical and technical maintenance of telecommunications containers 8. Availability of personnel, specialists, instruments, and tools 24/7/365, ensuring readiness and expected repair times 9. Repair of faulty units, replacement of worn-out elements, and replenishment. Maintenance frequency: Maintenance of telecommunications rooms, containers, and high current equipment will be carried out once a year during the contract period, as well as once in case of fault reports, according to a schedule prepared by the contractor and approved by the client. Despite regular maintenance tasks, there may be events that result in equipment failure. The contractor is required to start immediate troubleshooting at the fault location within 4 hours of the fault report. To ensure continuous service that meets public needs, the contractor must provide necessary personnel availability 24 hours a day during the contract period. For ad-hoc troubleshooting, the client commits to drawing 70% of the contractual limit for ad-hoc troubleshooting fees. (The client caps the contractual limit for ad-hoc troubleshooting fees at 30% of the regular task's contractual flat fee.) Detailed tasks are included in the technical description.
