Waste Collection and Management Services in Julków, Poland

This contract involves the collection and management of waste classified under code 19 05 99. The estimated quantity of waste to be collected and managed is specified for each task in the table in section 5. The waste is generated from the mechanical-biological processing of unsorted municipal waste at the MBP facility managed by "EKO-REGION" sp. z o.o., located in Julków, gm. Skierniewice. The contractor will collect and manage the waste in compliance with applicable laws and the processes outlined in Annex 2 of the Waste Act. The estimated quantities of waste for collection and management are divided into the following tasks: Task 1 Z/I Julków – 4,000 Mg, Task 2 Z/I Julków – 3,000 Mg, Task 3 Z/I Julków – 2,000 Mg. Waste collection will take place at the Z/I facility in Julków, gm. Skierniewice. Due to the unpredictable nature of waste generation, the estimated quantities may change, and the buyer reserves the right to reduce the quantity by up to 90% without any claims from the contractor for unfulfilled parts of the contract. The buyer guarantees a minimum of 10% of the estimated quantities for collection during the contract period. The contractor will use their own transportation for the service. The buyer will be responsible for loading the waste. The contractor must supervise the loading process and ensure proper load security during transport, adhering to road safety regulations. The installed scale at the Z/I facility has a valid Legalization Certificate. Waste collection will be based on notifications sent by the buyer to the contractor, which can be done via email, fax, or phone. The notification must include details about the destination facility, the Business Activity Location number (MPD), the name, BDO number, and details of the transporting entity, the estimated collection date, vehicle registration number, and driver's name, along with any other necessary information for proper waste record-keeping. The contractor must provide the buyer with a copy of the decision granting permission for waste processing within 7 days of receiving any changes to the decision, including for subcontractors. If the contractor loses necessary permits or licenses, they must immediately inform the buyer, who may terminate the contract immediately. The waste classified under code 19 05 99 is generated from unsorted municipal waste and must be disposed of in a landfill that meets municipal waste disposal requirements. The contractor must inform the buyer if the landfill loses its municipal status during the contract. The buyer will only provide waste that meets specific environmental regulations, confirmed by quarterly laboratory tests. The service will be provided in accordance with relevant laws, including the Waste Act and other applicable regulations. Note: Upon signing the contract, the contractor will provide the buyer with a signed statement regarding the validity of the waste processing decision.
