    Brief

Warwickshire is seeking a service provider for two integrated services: (1) Abandoned Vehicle Services covering the recovery, storage, and disposal of abandoned vehicles across Warwickshire on a cost-neutral basis, supporting eight public sector partners including five district councils, Warwickshire Police, Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service, and Warwickshire County Council. The service must ensure prompt removal of vehicles from highways to prevent safety risks, anti-social behaviour, and environmental concerns. Approximately 151 vehicles were recovered in 2025-26. (2) Fire Training Vehicle Provision supplying 60-180 diesel and petrol vehicles annually to Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service for realistic training and rescue exercises where vehicles are deliberately dismantled or destroyed. This service requires full depollution, delivery to and collection from fire service locations, and acknowledgment that supplied vehicles will be destroyed as part of critical public safety training. The procurement may be structured as a single contract, split into separate lots, or as separate procurement exercises, and feedback is sought on the preferred approach.
