IT Services for Health Data Management

The North Ostrobothnia welfare area is preparing to implement customer and patient information systems under the AAPO program. This procurement focuses on database work for transferring specific data from Lifecare, which will be formatted for robotic use in CSV or JSON format. The procurement is based on a preliminary study. Direct procurement is justified as Tietoevry Oyj is the sole owner of the Lifecare customer and patient information system, making them the only supplier capable of fulfilling this contract. The North Ostrobothnia welfare area will implement a unified customer and patient information system that enables new and shared operational models. The selected healthcare system is Esko (Esko Systems Oy). The procurement includes: data from the Lifecare database (including migration tools and database work), data from the Lifecare Open EHR database (including migration tools and database work), and development of robotic database work for production piloting and transfers. The total estimated cost of the procurement is 411,336 euros, including any options.
