Catering Services for Schools and Daycare Centers in Neumünster

The purpose of this contract is to provide lunch catering services through the preparation and delivery of traditionally cooked meals for municipal daycare centers in Neumünster starting from August 1, 2026, and for municipal primary schools in Neumünster at the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. The goal is to find the best solution that meets the needs of the children and their guardians, as well as the financial capabilities of the families. This tender consists of 4 lots, which group daycare centers and primary schools as regional units (see Annex 3 of the tender documents). The daycare centers have kitchen areas, and the schools have a cafeteria with kitchen facilities. However, the technical equipment in these kitchens is not designed for complete meal preparation. The kitchen areas are equipped for the Cook & Hold method, meaning that meals must be delivered in suitable containers that can be used for this method. These containers must be provided to the daycare or school until the lunch service time and must be technically sound, with proof of this from the contractor. The contractor is also responsible for cleaning the meal delivery containers. Requirements for Daycare Centers: The maximum price per portion is €4.50 gross (€4.21 net). Offers exceeding this price will not be considered. Price increases after the award of the contract until August 2027 are not allowed. Requirements for Schools: The food calculation for primary levels must include a minimum ingredient cost of €1.20 net per portion. The maximum price per meal is €6.00 gross (€5.04 net). Offers exceeding this price will not be considered. Price increases after the award of the contract until the end of the 2026/2027 school year are not allowed.
