Germany – Construction Works – OPZ - Partial Renovation: Fire Protection Doors

The University Hospital Bonn is planning the fire protection and functional enhancement of Building 22 / OPZ. This includes the renovation of the electrical supply in connection with fire protection deficiencies. In the first construction phase, the low-voltage main distribution (NSHV) in the 3rd basement will be renewed. Preparatory work, such as cutting a new door element, demolishing wall sections, and modifying raised floor constructions, is necessary. The 3rd basement is located approximately at -10m relative to the access areas, and there is no direct access. The expected start for the fire protection doors is scheduled for December 2025. As part of a Europe-wide open tender, services for the fire protection doors trade will be commissioned.
