    Brief

Hampshire County Council Children's Services is seeking care support providers for children and young people with disabilities, specifically those requiring support for significant behavioural needs. This is a specialist Tier 4 service within the council's continuum of support for disabled children and young people. The service supports children with severe disabilities including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, challenging behaviour, and complex physical or mental health needs. Services are delivered as part of a holistic care plan agreed by the Council's County Allocation Panel following social care assessment. This call-off opportunity seeks innovative, personalised service delivery models that go beyond traditional domiciliary care. Staff will require additional training and experience to manage complex behavioural needs, though 2:1 support is not required. Successful providers will demonstrate high skill levels, relevant experience, and confidence in supporting children with challenging behaviour. Individual service contracts will be awarded based on assessed need rather than at the call-off stage.
