Digital Weight Management Service for Adults – Contract Renewal (Wales)

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) intends to award a contract for continued provision of a digital weight management service for adults. This is a Level 2 behavioural programme designed to increase capacity and provide eligible patients with flexible access to weight management support as part of the ABUHB Weight Management Pathway. The contract is being awarded through Direct Award Process 2 (DAP2) under the Health Services (Provider Selection Regime) (Wales) Regulations 2025, as the existing provider has successfully met current contract requirements and demonstrated capability to deliver under the proposed arrangements without considerable change. The existing contract is expiring and will be replaced by this new contract. ABUHB has assessed the provider against key selection criteria and is satisfied they can continue delivering the service to the required standard. This is an Intention to Award Notice.
