Enhanced Care Support Services for Children and Young People with Complex Disabilities

Hampshire County Council Children's Services is seeking qualified providers to deliver enhanced care support services for children and young people with disabilities, including those with severe or complex needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, challenging behaviour, and complex health requirements. This is a specialist Tier 4 service delivered as part of a holistic support package aligned with individual Care Plans approved by the County Allocation Panel. The council aims to commission innovative, personalised service delivery models that move beyond traditional domiciliary care, enhancing staff skills and job satisfaction while improving outcomes for service users. Providers selected through this call-off procedure will work with children and young people requiring enhanced support, which may involve behavioural management training, specialist care interventions, or support workers with additional training. Individual Service Contracts will be awarded based on specific assessed needs rather than at the call-off stage.
