Croydon End of Life Home Care Support Service - Pre-Market Engagement

NHS South West London Integrated Care Board is inviting pre-market engagement to inform the potential commissioning of an integrated End of Life Home Care Support Service in Croydon. This is a pre-procurement consultation to gather market views and assess interest from potential providers. The proposed service will combine two existing services (Planned Variable Palliative Support with overnight care and the End of Life Carer Respite Service) into a single integrated service delivered through one provider with a single point of access. The service aims to reduce carer breakdown and crisis, enable more people to be cared for at home according to their preferences, and reduce avoidable hospital admissions through timely respite and planned palliative support. The service is activity-based with annual demand and cost reviews. The estimated annual budget is approximately £272,000. Participation in this engagement exercise is optional and does not commit organizations to future procurement participation, but responses will inform commissioning and procurement decisions.
