Brief

This programme supports young people in Years 10-13 and employers across the North East Combined Authority area. It has two main components: (1) For young people: sector-specific work experience linked to regional job market needs, plus apprenticeship preparation training to help them understand different apprenticeship levels, career progression routes, and recruitment processes; (2) For employers: engagement activities to increase awareness of apprenticeship funding, incentives, and recruitment support, helping them build confidence in hiring apprentices. The goal is to increase apprenticeship take-up in priority sectors across the region.
