Public Health Nursing Services for Children and Young People (Healthy Child Programme)

This opportunity is to deliver the Healthy Child Programme—a national public health nursing service for infants, children, and young people aged 0-19 years (or up to age 25 for care leavers and those with special educational needs and disabilities). The service encompasses universal health assessments, early identification and intervention for health needs, disease prevention, school readiness support, safeguarding, and health equity promotion. Key objectives include ensuring healthy early development, identifying and addressing health issues promptly, preventing health problems, supporting school readiness and learning outcomes, protecting vulnerable children and families, and promoting equitable health outcomes. This is tendered through a competitive procurement process under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012. Note: PA23 and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply.
