School Attendance Monitoring Service for Out-of-City Placements

Wolverhampton City Council seeks a service provider to monitor school attendance for children and young people in care placed in out-of-city independent settings and those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in out-of-city schools. The service will collect, analyze, and report attendance data to enable early identification of poor attendance and unauthorized absences. Key objectives include delivering an effective and responsive monitoring system that supports timely intervention, improves attendance outcomes among Wolverhampton pupils, and provides accurate, timely attendance data collection and reporting. This procurement was conducted using an open below-threshold procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 and the Council's contract procedure rules.
