Cloud Data Lakehouse Development and Operations

HMRC is seeking a service provider to develop, operate, and continuously improve its cloud-based Data Lakehouse platform as part of the Data Warehouse Transformation (DWIT) programme. The successful supplier will be responsible for: designing and building the data lakehouse infrastructure; managing data migration from existing systems; setting up automated data ingestion pipelines; providing day-to-day platform management and support; and implementing ongoing optimisation to ensure performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. This is a strategic opportunity to deliver a modern, scalable data platform that will enhance HMRC's analytical capabilities and data-driven decision-making. The supplier should have expertise in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, data architecture, and enterprise platform operations.
