24/7 Vehicle Recovery, Storage and Disposal Service

Police Scotland seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive vehicle recovery, storage, and disposal services. The contractor must operate a 24-hour, 365-day call handling system and dispatch recovery operators throughout the Police Scotland Force area. Response time commitments are 30 minutes for light vehicles and 1 hour for heavy vehicles from notification, except in exceptional circumstances such as severe weather or remote locations. The contractor will manage all aspects of vehicle recovery operations with professionalism and sensitivity, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and contract standards. All recovered vehicles must be stored in secure, covered facilities or compounds when not required for police examination. Recovery operators must maintain high standards of workmanship and carry out all duties in accordance with applicable legislation and scheme requirements.
