MOD Synthetic Training Systems and Services Contract - Gladiator and SPARTAN

The Ministry of Defence seeks a supplier to deliver core systems and services for the Gladiator and SPARTAN programmes, which provide distributed synthetic training capabilities to the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy. This 5-year Fully Managed Service contract will support high-fidelity, secure operational training across multiple domains and partner nations without the constraints of live training environments. Key deliverables include: support and sustainment of existing Gladiator system capabilities; integration with Royal Navy SPARTAN requirements for Maritime Collective Training; platform integration and capability development; and enhanced interoperability across Defence Forces. The contract will support development of new digital assets, scenarios, and training environments to address modern maritime threats. This is a Defence and Security Contract under the Procurement Act 2023 requiring competitive tendering. Suppliers must hold or obtain Personal Security Clearance (PSC) to SECRET level (UK/NATO) and meet high cyber security standards (High Cyber Risk Profile). A tasking process will allow for additional works beyond core requirements. TUPE is anticipated to apply.
