Specialist Supported Living Service for Autistic Adults at Dillington Mews

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a single provider to deliver specialist Supported Living services for autistic adults at Dillington Mews, a community-based property in Barnsley. The service will support individuals to maintain their own tenancy, develop independent living skills, and progress toward greater independence within the community. The provider must deliver person-centered support with a continuous waking staff presence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contract comprises two elements: a Block component providing guaranteed annual funding of £209,770 for core staffing, and a Spot component providing additional one-to-one support at an hourly rate (estimated at 209 hours per week) worth approximately £256,563 annually. The total estimated contract value is approximately £3,264,331. The contract will commence on 1st October 2026 and run for 5 years with an optional 2-year extension subject to satisfactory performance and continued need.
