Operating Theatre Services Contract

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is planning to procure a comprehensive Theatre Managed Service to support perioperative operations across Gloucestershire Royal Hospital and Cheltenham General Hospital. The Trust operates theatres serving multiple specialties including general surgery, orthopaedics, trauma, vascular surgery, urology, breast surgery, colorectal surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, ophthalmology, head and neck surgery, and anaesthetics. The managed service is expected to cover theatre consumables and product management, inventory control and stock replenishment, product standardisation and optimisation, clinical and technical support, data reporting and performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives. The scope may also extend to Image Guided Interventional Surgery (IGIS) services. The Trust is currently in the planning phase and developing detailed requirements for this procurement.
