Water System Flushing Service for Student Residences

This contract provides low occupancy water flushing services for hot and cold water outlets in student accommodation facilities. The service ensures compliance with Health and Safety Executive legislation, specifically HSG 274/ACoP L8 regulations and the University's water safety plan. Work includes regular flushing of water outlets that produce aerosols in buildings where the need has been identified, plus ad hoc support during the year for emergency situations such as unexpected staffing issues. This is a statutory compliance requirement to maintain water safety standards and prevent waterborne pathogens in residential buildings.
