MCA Workboat Survey and Code 3 Certification for Border Security Command RHIBs

The Home Office is seeking qualified contractors to conduct annual Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) Workboat surveys and issue MCA Workboat Code 3 certifications for Border Security Command (BSC) Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIBs). The RHIBs are constructed to MCA Work Boat Code Edition 2 Amendment 1 standards and currently operate under certification category 4/3R within 10 nautical miles. Contractors must provide a full five-year certification period. This advance notice allows potential bidders to prepare for the formal tender, which will be released in early October 2026 via the Home Office eSourcing Portal. To participate, bidders must register on both the Home Office eSourcing Portal (https://homeoffice.app.jaggaer.com/) and the UK Government's Find a Tender Service using GOV.UK One Login (https://signin.account.gov.uk/sign-in-or-create).
