NHS Dental Services with Student Supervision

Norfolk and Suffolk ICB, in partnership with the University of Suffolk, operates a new dental service at the University Waterfront premises—a modern, fully equipped dental facility that opened in February 2024. The service offers two primary functions: (1) providing NHS dental care to the local community, and (2) offering clinical placements and supervision for undergraduate students enrolled in the University's BSc in Dental Hygiene and Therapy program. This creates an opportunity for suppliers to support a dual-purpose facility that combines patient care with dental education. Potential suppliers may provide dental equipment, materials, instruments, maintenance services, or other support services to ensure the facility operates effectively while maintaining high standards for both patient treatment and student training.
