Mental Health Support Workers for Primary Care in Norfolk and Waveney

This is a service delivery opportunity to provide Enhanced Recovery Worker services supporting mental health and wellbeing across Norfolk and Waveney at the primary care level. The service targets people aged 14+ registered with GP practices who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues and are low risk to self and others. Providers will deliver personalised one-to-one support with up to six recovery-focused, goal-based sessions tailored to individual needs. The service operates within GP practices and community settings, working collaboratively with other primary care and community services to provide holistic support. Key requirements include: establishing warm handovers to other services; prioritising underserved populations experiencing health inequalities; conducting outreach in high-deprivation areas and Core20 Plus communities; and focusing on early intervention and prevention. Suppliers should demonstrate experience in mental health support, recovery-focused practice, community engagement, and ability to work within integrated primary care systems.
