Miscellaneous Drainage Works Framework Agreement

Birmingham City Council is seeking to establish a 4-year framework agreement commencing September 2026 for miscellaneous drainage works. Up to 4 providers will be appointed and can be called off either without competition (ranked by submission) or through further competition. Works cover a wide range of drainage and water management activities including routine and emergency maintenance of grill structures and culverts, construction and repair of flood defense structures, sustainable drainage schemes, dredging, watercourse rehabilitation, bank stabilization, resilience works, and landscape management. The framework operates under the Infrastructure Conditions of Contract Measurement Version 2011 (ICE 7th Edition with Council amendments). Interested suppliers must register with Birmingham City Council's free in-tend e-tendering system at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/birminghamcc/ to submit quotations by 12:00 noon on Friday 17th July 2026.
