HSE West Multi-Party Framework Agreement for Engineering Services - Non-Acute Healthcare Capital Works (€15M-€60M)

This is a Multi-Party Framework Agreement for engineering services supporting HSE West's non-acute healthcare capital works program covering the Galway, Mayo, and Roscommon regions. The initial project involves constructing a new 75-bed Community Nursing Unit (CNU) at Ballina District Hospital campus, comprising three floors with 25 single ensuite bedrooms per floor to HIQA standards for older people's residential care, including 10 dementia-specific bedrooms on the ground floor. The project scope also includes refurbishment of the existing district hospital female wing, construction of a commercial production kitchen, physiotherapy areas, laundry facilities, staff amenities, and day-care services. Additional works include demolition of existing structures, diversion of underground services, construction of new car parking areas, a medical building, and a new substation with generator room. The total project floor area is approximately 7,960 m². Various elements will be tendered separately as individual construction contracts (enabling works, main construction packages, etc.) subject to statutory approvals, HSE sign-off, and funding confirmation. Project value ranges from €15M to €60M excluding VAT.
