Framework Agreement for Rail Revenue Management System

DFTO is establishing a framework agreement with up to two suppliers to provide a comprehensive Revenue Management System for rail operations. The system must optimize rail fares using advanced forecasting, dynamic pricing, automated business rules, and inventory management capabilities. Key requirements include: leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze historical and real-time data; dynamically adjusting prices to match demand and maximize revenue; supporting a scalable, modular architecture; and accommodating flexible business operating models through both forecast-driven and rules-based revenue management approaches. The framework agreement will have an estimated aggregate value not exceeding £50 million (excluding VAT) over its duration, with contracts awarded through call-off orders.
