Long Term Forest Management Plans – 10-Year Review Service

Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) is seeking a contractor to develop and deliver five comprehensive Long Term Plans (formerly Land Management Plans) covering a full 10-year review cycle. This is a 1-year initial contract with the option to extend for up to two additional 12-month periods at FLS's discretion. The successful supplier will manage the complete planning process from initial brief through to final submission to Scottish Forestry, including: brief setting, initial scoping and design, external stakeholder consultation, final design and plan production, and submission and post-approval support. Deliverables must be fully compliant with Scottish Forestry requirements and ready for immediate submission. Forestry and Land Scotland is a public body responsible for managing Scotland's national forests and land to enhance biodiversity, support tourism, improve public access to green spaces, and support Scotland's physical and mental wellbeing, while maintaining sustainable timber supplies for the rural economy.
