Construction of School Facilities in Weinfelden

This contract involves the expansion of existing gymnasiums by adding two additional floors to be used as a secondary school. The expansion will be constructed using wooden elements. New stairwells will be built as a double-shell structure in exposed concrete. The two-story addition will include 12 classrooms (one equipped as a learning space), 7 group rooms, and two teacher rooms with a terrace. A single-story light courtyard (outdoor climate) is designed in the heart of the school. Special conditions: The renovation will primarily take place during ongoing operations. The gymnasium will only be fully closed during the construction of the wooden structure. Construction work includes partial demolition and dismantling of existing facilities, site facilities including construction fencing, reinforced concrete work mainly in exposed concrete, foundation reinforcements, waterproofing, drilling, and cutting of concrete.
