Brief

The Market Development Program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) aims to facilitate the entry of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), self-employed individuals in the commercial sector, as well as specialized freelancers and business-related service providers operating in Germany into new markets, leading to further success in export activities. The project involves a one-year initiative to support companies in strategically and gradually addressing and developing a target market, as well as establishing sustainable contacts and business relationships in that market. Participating companies will collaboratively work on a selected target market. The 'Consortium Projects' will utilize the full range of foreign trade promotion, particularly various modules of the MEP, such as webinars, information events, business matchmaking, exhibitions, informational trips, and market explorations, which will be strategically integrated as part of the consortium module. The planning for the overall project and its respective sub-projects is the responsibility of the implementing organization. The implementation of the project is subject to the General Conditions for Implementation (ABD) of the module Partner for International Business Development (Annex 1) and accompanying guidelines (Annex 2, 2a-2g).
