Architectural and Engineering Services for Restoration Projects in Belgium

This contract involves selecting a project author for two lots of restoration services. Lot 1 focuses on the studies and renovation project for the ruins of the Chapelle du Bouxthay, located along the Ravel, between the Rue du Bouxthay and the Chaussée Brunehault. These ruins are the last remnants of an architectural complex that included a castle and a large farm built between the 14th and 18th centuries, classified as historical monuments in 1997. The project aims to consolidate the ruins, restore their original volume, and enhance the site by creating a welcoming space. Lot 2 involves the studies and renovation project for the Pepin Tower in Herstal, the only remnant of a castle destroyed in 1857, originally built around 1575 and classified in 1962. This project aims to renovate the tower to its original state, using period-appropriate materials and techniques, and it will serve as an annex to the museum.
