Excavation and Earthmoving Work for Potable Water Infrastructure in Malta

This contract involves the excavation and installation of potable water pipelines in an environmentally friendly manner. The project focuses on the area between Cirkewwa and Ta’ Qali Reservoir, specifically from Zebbiegh to San Martin (Ghajn Astas). Suppliers are required to lay pipes using open cut trenches as detailed in the tender documents and bill of quantities. The work includes the installation of ductile iron mains with diameters of 100mm and 600mm, but does not include the supply of pipes and fittings. All necessary ductile iron mains, fittings, polyethylene pipes, manhole covers, and surface boxes will be provided by the Water Services Corporation. This project aims to meet the increasing demand for potable water in the Northern and Central regions of Malta.
