Geotechnical Engineering Services for Maritime Protection in France

This contract involves conducting geotechnical surveys (drilling) at the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport to assess the soil characteristics for maritime protection measures, such as rock embankments or concrete blocks. The project includes both land and marine components, with plans for 24 land surveys and 16 marine surveys, including core sampling, pressuremeter tests, and CPTu tests, as well as laboratory testing. The land surveys aim for a depth of 25 meters at the top of the embankment, with the possibility of placing and removing rock materials during the surveys. The marine surveys target a depth of 15 meters, with seabed levels between -6 and -12 meters NGF. This project must adhere to specific constraints due to the airport's operational requirements, including restricted maritime areas (unless authorized), aviation servitudes (maximum working heights near runways), security and safety regulations, access and circulation permits, and mandatory training for personnel. On-site work is expected to begin in late October 2025. The consultation consists of a fixed-price component and a unit-price component, forming a framework agreement executed through the issuance of purchase orders (for the unit-price part only).
