Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council is leading a multi-partner initiative called the Tees Urban Nature Network (TUNN) as part of the Nature Towns and Cities programme. Partners include Middlesbrough Council, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, Sport England's You've Got This initiative, Business in the Community, Teesside University, and environmental and voluntary sector organisations. The project focuses on creating healthier, greener, and more resilient urban areas by improving green and blue infrastructure, strengthening connections between people and nature, and supporting community-led nature recovery across the Tees Valley. The Council is seeking an experienced evaluation partner to act as a critical friend, supporting the partnership through learning, capacity building, reflective practice, and evidence generation. The evaluation role will track continuous improvement during project delivery and provide robust evidence of outcomes, impacts, and learning related to people, place, and nature across this complex multi-partner system.
