Project Manager for Lymington Sea Water Baths Restoration - Phase 1

Lymington and Pennington Town Council is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate Phase 1 of the Lymington Sea Water Baths Restoration Project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The Baths, established in 1833, are among the earliest surviving open-air seawater bathing facilities in the United Kingdom and are a significant heritage asset requiring restoration. As the lead coordinator, you will provide single-point responsibility for managing all Phase 1 workstreams and ensuring quality assurance across the project. Key responsibilities include: maintaining an integrated project programme; coordinating the Design Team, Quantity Surveyor, Heritage Consultant, and Engagement Consultant; managing project meetings and documentation; preparing risk and issue registers; supporting National Lottery reporting; and delivering or managing three specialist workstreams (Comparator Study examining five to seven UK comparable facilities, Market/Regional Profile Review assessing audience and market potential, and Business Options Appraisal evaluating operational and governance models). You will produce a Comparator Study Report, Market/Regional Profile Review, Business Options Appraisal with financial modelling, and coordinate handover of all Phase 1 outputs by 31 August 2027. The contract value is up to £32,000 excluding VAT with a fixed fee structure. Appointment is expected in late September 2026, with project initiation within one week. You may deliver specialist workstreams directly or through identified subconsultants, though you remain responsible for their management and quality assurance.
