North Circular Road Active Travel Scheme Construction Contract - Dublin

Dublin City Council is seeking a contractor for the construction of the North Circular Road (Dorset Street Lower to Amiens Street) Active Travel Scheme, a 1.1km roadworks project designed to enhance pedestrian and cycling infrastructure in the city. This project is part of Dublin's broader initiative to expand its Active Travel Network from 40km to 314km across the city, promoting sustainable transport and reducing carbon emissions. The scope of work includes: segregated cycle lanes, improved footpaths and pedestrian facilities, upgrades to three signal-controlled junctions (Belvedere Place, Fitzgibbon Street, Summerhill), carriageway resurfacing, public lighting, traffic signals and ducting, drainage works, landscaping and public realm improvements, bike stands, and bus shelter foundations.
