Bus Tires Supply Contract

This contract involves establishing a framework agreement for the supply of tires, primarily reinforced sidewall tires, for the buses of the Brussels Intercommunal Transport Company (STIB). Currently, the required tires are 'all-season' types, specifically '275/70x22.5' and '265/70x19.5'. The contract may later be expanded to include additional tire types not initially listed in the attached specifications. Successful bidders will be invited to submit offers for these additional items. Furthermore, the supplier must maintain a buffer stock of items that can be delivered within 2 calendar days, if possible. The estimated value of this contract ranges from 6,500,000 euros to 7,500,000 euros over a period of 96 months (8 years). Ideally, there will be 2 awarded suppliers per item, with the second-best bidder serving as a backup.
