Harlow District Council - Principal Designer Construction Consultancy Services

Harlow District Council (HDC) is seeking a Principal Designer to provide construction consultancy services across its housing transformation and investment projects. The Principal Designer will ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations, particularly under the Building Safety Act 2022, and meet landlord obligations. Key responsibilities include delivering Principal Designer services across relevant projects from RIBA stages 2-6 (or as defined by Building Safety Act requirements), ensuring services are safe, compliant, and accessible to all residents, consistently achieving project outputs, and providing transparent reporting on performance, compliance, and risks. This role supports HDC's strategic commitment to transform Harlow's housing stock and improve resident outcomes.
