Endoscopy Tower Procurement

The North Savo Welfare Area's Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic is requesting bids for an endoscopy tower as per the tender specifications. This system is intended for outpatient endoscopic examinations related to ear, nose, and throat (ENT) procedures, including examinations of the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, larynx, and trachea. It should have the capability to connect to rigid optics and a camera head. The system must provide high-quality imaging, preferably in UHD or equivalent, and allow for the storage of video and image captures in the KYS patient information system. The North Savo Welfare Area has outsourced maintenance and support services to its in-house companies (Servica Oy and Istekki Oy). These in-house companies may act as maintenance organizers or, if necessary, as service providers. Suppliers are requested to consider these services in their bids where applicable. Servica Oy is the in-house company of the North Savo Welfare Area that provides central warehouse and logistics services to its owners. Servica Oy may participate in this procurement as a buyer for central warehouse products. Only one (1) supplier will be selected. Endoscopy towers that meet the minimum criteria outlined in the tender will be tested after the bid submission deadline to ensure compliance with the specified requirements. Testing will only be conducted for devices that are new or unknown to the user unit. If a device has already been tested in a previous halted procurement, it will be considered in this procurement, and those devices will not be retested. Testing will occur within two (2) months of the bid submission date. The supplier must deliver the endoscopy tower for testing within twenty-one (21) days of a separate request from the buyer and coordinate the testing with the requesting unit. The testing period will be two weeks. If testing is not possible, the bid will be rejected. The testing ensures compliance with the criteria set forth in the tender.
