Elevator and Escalator Installation for Student Housing Renovation

The project involves the comprehensive renovation of House B in the student housing complex located at Max-Planck-Ring, Ilmenau. The existing building layout, featuring a central staircase and corridor, will be maintained. Non-load-bearing interior walls will be removed to create a more spacious environment for each apartment. The current gable roof will be dismantled and replaced with a prefabricated wooden structure to create a new full floor. Each student will have access to a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. The upper floors will consist of living units, while the five upper levels (ground floor, 1st to 3rd floors, and the new top floor) will be dedicated entirely to residential use. The basement will house technical rooms, a caretaker's office, a laundry room, and bicycle parking.
