Construction of Temporary Snow Reception Area in Malmi

This contract involves the construction of a temporary snow reception area in Malmi, as specified in the contract documents. The project includes stabilizing the base of the snow reception area, constructing access paths nearby, and building gates and electrical connections for a new access route from Suurmetsäntie to the old runway. Additionally, a temporary left-turn lane on Suurmetsäntie will be constructed for the snow reception site. The alignment of the roadway on Suurmetsäntie will be modified, and the pedestrian and cycling paths will be resurfaced. The contracting authority is the City of Helsinki's Urban Environment Division, acting as the client under the YSE 98 regulations. All work must be completed and accepted, including necessary inspections by authorities, by September 30, 2026. This is a total contract where the selected contractor will act as the main contractor according to YSE and Finnish legislation. The contractor is responsible for site management and services. In addition to the tasks outlined in the document list, the contractor will also handle site management responsibilities and services related to separate contracts and purchases as specified in the contract documents. The work will be executed as a fixed-price contract, and the site will be operated as a low-emission site, with requirements detailed in the contract documents. The quantities presented in the plans are not binding for the client. The contractor will be selected based on the most economically advantageous offer, which is the lowest price among those meeting the client's suitability requirements. Subcontractors of the contractor in a contractual relationship with the client have the right to further subcontract the work. However, further chaining of the procurement/contract is not allowed without a justified reason and written consent from the client.
