Construction of Flood Protection Dikes in Hohenwarthe

This contract involves the renovation and elevation of the existing Elbe dike, approximately 1100 meters in length. The project includes the construction of a three-zone dike, installation of a reinforced dike crown, and the creation of a continuous dike defense path. Additionally, it connects the Hohenwarther dike to the Niegripper dike via a 500-meter access path at embankment level. Key tasks include: removing approximately 9600 m³ of topsoil, stockpiling and reapplying 2900 m³ of topsoil, excavating 20250 m³ of old dike material, constructing with 17000 m³ of old dike material, supplying and installing 48850 m³ of support body material, providing and installing 4445 m³ of filter material, supplying and installing 16700 m³ of clay, and seeding approximately 45745 m² of grass. The project also includes the production of 9000 m² of asphalt, including surface, base, and leveling layers.
