Clean Water Equipment Procurement

The procurement is for clean water devices classified as Class 1 and Class 2, intended for use by the Finnish Food Authority (Ruokavirasto). A total of 9 devices will be installed in Viikki, Helsinki, 1 in Loimaa, and 1 in Kuopio. The procurement includes 6 complete systems to be delivered in 2025-2026, with an option for an additional 5 systems from 2026-2028. The clean water supply will be integrated into existing systems that utilize Class 2 water, with a continuous circulation setup. The current system includes sampling points, a bacterial filter, separate water intake points, Class 1 water production devices, pressure gauges, and a polyethylene tank with a UV lamp. The new system must also include a UV component in the tank. If the new device includes a tank, the Finnish Food Authority will handle the removal of the old tank. The procurement also covers necessary filter cartridges, installation and connection to the piping system, as well as annual maintenance and repair services.
