IT Services Transition to Microsoft Azure Cloud

The municipality of Halderberge is undergoing a significant transformation of its existing IT environment to a future-proof, secure, and flexible Microsoft Azure cloud environment. They have decided to prepare and execute the migration to a Microsoft Azure cloud environment, Microsoft workplace concept, and network infrastructure within a collaborative construction team. This includes setting up an appropriate service organization, management structure, and security measures. The municipality is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced IT partner who can proactively contribute to the design, migration plan, and management plan for this transition within a construction team framework. The project has the following indicative budgets based on market consultation outcomes: • Design Phase: An indicative budget of €50,000 to €100,000 (excluding VAT) is available for preparation, design activities, and the development of the migration plan. • Construction and Migration Phase: An estimated budget of approximately €450,000 (excluding VAT) is allocated for the actual construction, migration, and setup of the new IT environment. • Management Phase: For the management of the new IT environment post-delivery, a contract is anticipated for a duration of 4 years, with the possibility of extending for 6 additional 1-year terms. During market consultation, indications were given up to €1.2 million per year, but the municipality expects that the final annual management costs will be lower due to optimization and market dynamics.
