    Brief

Kirklees Council is seeking qualified providers to deliver supported accommodation services for looked after children and care leavers aged 16+. This is a call-off contract from the existing Electronic Market Place (EMP KMCCYP-192) for the period 1 January 2026 to 31 March 2026. The Council requires providers across four accommodation categories: (1) self-contained units for individual use, (2) shared group living exclusively for looked after children and care leavers, (3) shared group living open to other residents, and (4) supported lodgings in private residences. Supported accommodation provides safe, nurturing environments where young people develop independence and life skills in preparation for adulthood. Providers must have relevant experience and demonstrate the ability to support vulnerable young people effectively. This procurement follows the Light Touch Regime under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and is open to providers already shortlisted on the KMCCYP-192 Electronic Marketplace. The wider EMP framework runs until 31 March 2034.
