Utility Infrastructure Provider for Wychavon New Town Development

Homes England is seeking an Independent Distribution Network Operator (IDNO) licensed by OFGEM to design, deliver, own and maintain utility infrastructure for Wychavon New Town. This strategic masterplanned development will comprise approximately 10,000 new homes across multiple neighbourhoods, supported by up to five primary schools, at least one secondary school, and early years facilities. The development includes significant commercial and employment spaces, local centres with retail and community services, and extensive green infrastructure featuring parks and active travel routes. The successful IDNO will be responsible for assessing requirements, planning, and ensuring reliable utility services that support this large-scale mixed-use development.
