Brief

This EPSRC funding opportunity supports UK-based ICT researchers who wish to apply their expertise to other academic disciplines, or researchers from other fields who want to apply their knowledge to ICT challenges. Projects can last between 3 and 24 months, allowing researchers to explore interdisciplinary collaborations and build new capabilities. EPSRC will fund 80% of the full economic cost of eligible projects. Applicants must be based at UK higher education institutions or eligible research organisations. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis with internal batching for assessment at quarterly responsive mode panel meetings. This scheme encourages innovation through cross-disciplinary knowledge transfer and supports the development of research skills in new areas.
