Medical Research Council Proof of Concept Funding - Stage One

This grant program provides funding to research organizations to develop and test innovative therapeutic treatments, medical devices, diagnostic tools, and other health interventions. Eligible projects can be at any stage of development, from initial prototype creation and laboratory refinement through to early-phase human clinical trials (up to phase 2a). There is no maximum funding limit. This is an open call with no restrictions on the type of medical intervention, making it suitable for a wide range of health research organizations seeking to advance their innovations toward commercial viability or clinical application.
